Job Summary
ZE Power Engineering seeks a Project Coordinator to own project budgets, coordinate deliverables with the engineering team, and forecast expenses to prevent overspend. Responsibilities include setting up project details in Unanet/SharePoint (budgets, team assignments, activities), developing schedules with MS Project, creating/reviewing budgeted hours and deliverable timelines in Excel with the PM before launch, coordinating tasks to align with schedule and budget, organizing internal/client meetings, contributing to project proposals and budgets, providing PMO administrative support, following up on project status and permits, submitting deliverables via SharePoint/external portals, drafting change notices and status reports, validating subcontractor payments, handling accounts payable adjustments, and maintaining project documentation for audits.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum one year of experience in Project Management related to Engineering Projects
- Certificate / diploma / degree in Engineering, Accounting, Project Management Program, Business Management and / or Database Management
- Intermediate or advanced level of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), MS Project, and other Project Management Applications (e.g. Primavera P6, SAP, SharePoint)
- Experience with Unanet and SharePoint for project setup and budgeting
- Ability to develop project schedules using Microsoft Project and review budgeted hours and timelines with Project Manager
- Experience validating subcontractor payments and preparing billing corrections for Accounting
- Ability to maintain project documentation for internal and external audits
