Project Coordinator - Welding (Rail and Marine)

Job Summary
Coordinate and oversee fabrication and welding activities across rail and marine projects; provide leadership and technical support to fabrication and welding teams; ensure compliance with project specifications, welding procedures, and quality requirements; support ISO 3834 and EN 15085 standards; monitor weld quality, defects, repairs and non-conformances; coordinate inspection, testing and NDT activities; manage weld traceability, material control and project documentation; support planning, scheduling and execution of fabrication and hot work activities; collaborate with a senior international welding engineer and promote continuous improvement and strong safety culture.
Required Qualifications
- Proven background in welding and fabrication in production/manufacturing/project-based environment
- Leadership experience in fabrication or welding environments
- CSWIP 3.1 or equivalent welding inspection certification (preferred)
- IWS/IWT or IIW-recognised qualifications (preferred)
- ISO 3834 and EN 15085 familiarity (preferred)
- Trade-qualified Boilermaker or Welder with leadership experience (preferred)
