Project Coordinator – Water & Sewer

Job Summary
Coordinate water, sewer, and heavy civil construction projects from planning through completion by procuring materials, tracking schedules, and maintaining quality control documentation. Assist with cost tracking, budgeting, and reporting while communicating with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams. Review drawings, specifications, and contracts to prepare RFIs, submittals, change orders, and meeting minutes. Support field supervisors and project managers with daily coordination, ensuring adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies. Requires 2–5 years of experience in underground utility or municipal infrastructure, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and a valid driver's license. A clean driver's abstract is mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2–5 years of Project Coordination experience in Water & Sewer or Heavy Civil Construction
- Experience supporting underground utility or municipal infrastructure projects
- Experience with material procurement and supplier coordination
- Experience tracking project schedules, costs, and project performance
- Strong organizational and time management skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Valid driver's license and a clean driver's abstract
Desired Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, or a related field
- Experience working on municipal infrastructure projects
- Experience with project management or construction management software
