Project Coordinator

Job Summary
Coordinate planning, scheduling, procurement coordination, and document control for a large electrical infrastructure project. Responsibilities include developing and tracking project schedules, monitoring safety and environmental compliance, managing RFIs and submittals, analyzing supplier/subcontractor data to optimize costs and lead times, maintaining daily field reports and turnover documents, and ensuring design changes and technical specifications are communicated and implemented on site. The role involves cross-functional coordination between field staff and design engineers, with focus on safety, quality, and timely communication with internal and external stakeholders on the Wasoqonatl Transmission Line project (Amherst, NS).
Required Qualifications
- Post-Secondary education in a related field
- 3 years of experience in a project coordination role within the construction industry
- Previous construction industry experience
- Preferred: Working towards Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Experience supporting Electrical Infrastructure projects
