Job Summary
Project Coordinator at Landrum & Brown, supporting PMs and DPMs on large, complex aviation projects. Responsible for coordinating administrative and operational project activities to keep projects organized, compliant, financially supported, and on schedule. Serves as liaison between project teams, subcontractors, clients, and internal departments. Key duties include project coordination and administrative support, maintaining accurate project records and setup/tracking activities, billing readiness and financial coordination, contract administration and subconsultant coordination, monitoring COIs and compliance, and assisting with subcontract amendments, change orders, and document management. Requires strong organization, communication, and collaboration with technical staff, accounting teams, subcontractors, and clients; proficient in Office suite and familiar with project management/ERP systems. Degree in business/PM/accounting or related field and 1-2 years of experience in similar roles are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Accounting, or related discipline
- 1-2 years of experience in project coordination, project administration, operations support, or related administrative/project support role
- Experience supporting large, multi-disciplinary, or complex projects preferred
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with technical staff, accounting teams, subcontractors, and clients
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-up and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams
- Experience with project management systems, ERP systems, SharePoint, or document management platforms preferred
- Preferred Experience in aviation, engineering, environmental, architecture, consulting, construction, or professional services industries
- Familiarity with project billing support processes, subcontract coordination, and contract administration activities
- Experience supporting project documentation workflows and deliverable tracking
- Exposure to Deltek Vantage Point/Vision, Oracle, SAP, or similar project/accounting systems preferred
