Job Summary
Project Coordinator position for SEG engineering-design firm in Phoenix, AZ. Responsibilities include supporting pre-coordination and project submittal preparation to cities, counties, and state agencies; tracking submittals and portal status; assisting with dry utility coordination and due diligence; compiling maps, as-builts, and public records; facilitating construction administration through project meetings and liaison activities between design engineers and utility coordination; updating weekly reports and project-tracking sheets; processing agency comments/redline corrections; managing written correspondence and performing general administrative tasks. Requires 2+ years of permitting/submittal experience, the ability to read plans and maps, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with MS Office; project-management software (bqeCore, Smartsheet) preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years prior experience with permitting and submittal preparations
- Ability to read and interpret plans, surveys, right-of-way and easement maps, cost estimates, field notes, and property descriptions
- Team oriented attitude and ability to support multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work individually with minimal supervision
- Keen attention to detail and ability to prioritize work
- Strong organization skills and ability to investigate ambiguity
- Proficiency in project management processes and procedures including project management software. bqeCore and Smartsheet proficiency preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office products
- Committed to meeting deadlines
