Job Summary
Coordinate and oversee daily quality, containment, and rework activities while leading small teams to meet customer and project requirements. Perform dimensional inspections using precision tools like calipers and micrometers, support mechanical rework, and provide hands-on floor-level assistance when operational needs arise. Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and inspection records while communicating with customers and supervisors to resolve issues. Support site launches, including setup, training, and process validation, and monitor processes to identify improvements in quality and efficiency. Travel to other operational sites as needed and work night shifts (6:30 PM–6:30 AM) with flexibility for overtime and weekends based on demand.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of management or leadership experience
- Hands-on quality and mechanical/rework experience
- Ability to lead from the floor and support operations when needed
- Strong knowledge of quality inspection and containment processes
- Proficiency with precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, and height gages
- Process-driven and accountable leadership style
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong organization skills
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (6:30 PM–6:30 AM), 4 days on / 3 days off
- Flexibility for additional days, overtime, and weekends based on customer demand
- Comfort working in a physically demanding, non-climate-controlled environment
- Willingness to perform extended walking and standing
