Job Summary
Project Coordinator for Arete Education’s Summer 2026 program will plan, organize, and direct the execution of program activities, events, and special projects across Arete Education Middle School after-school and summer programs. Responsibilities include creating staff and student schedules, overseeing attendance procedures, developing weekly progress reports, organizing curriculum binders and digital files, posting daily photos/videos to Arete social media, representing Arete Education to partner schools, identifying needs and facilitating high-quality summer activities, collaborating with program teams, coordinating project details within budget, assisting leadership with planning for special projects, acting as liaison with staff and leadership, attending weekly program activities and meetings, conducting family outreach to support student enrollment and attendance, and performing related duties. Required skills emphasize exceptional communication, organization, collaboration with diverse communities, adaptability, and proficiency with Google Education Apps, Microsoft Office, Zoom, social media, and video/photo editing. Education and experience note a preferred internship with Arete Education, mandated trainings, and required background clearance.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- Prior internship or work experience with Arete Education preferred
- Mandated Reporter and Foundations in Health and Safety online trainings required (7-hours) to begin internship
- Department of Education background clearance
- Proficient with Google Education Apps, Microsoft Office, Zoom Video Conferencing, Social Media apps, video and photo editing apps
