Job Summary
Collaborate with leadership to plan, coordinate, and support the implementation of large-scale projects impacting multiple departments. Assist with project scheduling, planning, and execution while developing scope documents, work plans, and status reports. Independently manage smaller-scale initiatives requiring minimal supervision and apply established project management methodologies to drive operational analysis and process improvements. Facilitate meetings across diverse stakeholder groups to define requirements, identify deliverables, and resolve challenges. Coordinate cross-functional activities involving Patient Financial Services, Patient Access, Finance, and Information Technology. Prepare and distribute detailed project documentation and reports to ensure tasks are completed on schedule. Work with leadership to develop a professional development plan and participate in industry activities to maintain knowledge of project management trends.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma with seven (7) years of related experience
- Bachelor's Degree with two (2) years of related experience
- Any equivalent combination of education and experience
- Successful completion of The Emory Clinic Operations Development Program (ODP)
- Demonstrated success utilizing project management methodologies and tools for small-scale projects and/or process improvement initiatives
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in a healthcare environment
- Demonstrated interest in project management and leadership development
- Project-related certifications such as Lean, Six Sigma, PMP, or similar
- Experience leading technical or cross-functional projects
