Job Summary
Site-based rotation Project Coordinator for highway twinning project in Alberta. Manages subcontractors, supports meetings, and project oversight; executes project controls including scheduling (P6), progress tracking, quantities, productivity, and reporting; assists with contract management (RFIs, change tracking, documentation) and identifies risks/opportunities; coordinates surveying activities and assists with cost coding, invoicing, accruals, and forecasting; collaborates daily with safety, consultants, subcontractors, and the project team. Requires a Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree/diploma (or equivalent experience) and 3+ years roadbuilding experience; proficiency in Primavera P6, InEight, SharePoint, Bluebeam, and Excel; valid Class 5 license; ability to drive a company truck; willing to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing. Locations include Fort McMurray and Edmonton with a 10 days on / 4 days off rotation and 12-hour days; camp provided, site-based role; vehicle and fuel card provided.”,
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of roadbuilding, infrastructure and/or bridge construction experience is highly regarded
- Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, InEight, SharePoint, Bluebeam, and Excel
- Valid class 5 license
- Ability to work independently in a small, fast-paced team; strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
