Job Summary
Project Coordinator for Projects & Services supports the Project Management team on EPC and HMS projects, handling project administration, procurement coordination, and overall project support. Responsibilities include managing Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) at customer facilities, tracking work orders and invoicing with project accounting, maintaining Bills of Materials in the customer’s system, coordinating material reorders, assisting with end-to-end change orders, producing progress reports, supporting subcontractor management and invoice documentation, leading weekly construction meetings, coordinating resources to support execution and scheduling, preparing requisitions and project documents (including EHT controllers and data specs), and communicating priorities and shipping updates to procurement teams. The role requires an engineering-related background or technical understanding of electric heat tracing systems, 1-2 years of project-based experience (asset), strong analytical and communication skills, proficiency with Excel, and willingness to travel within Alberta. Weekend on-call support and travel to project sites in Alberta are possible. The role aligns with Construction Project Mgmt, is hourly in pay type, and is located in Edmonton, Alberta (in-person).
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Business, or Project Management; engineering background or technical understanding of EHT systems is a strong asset
- 1-2 years of experience in a project-based environment is an asset
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities
- Initiative to learn new systems and processes
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with databases or project management tools is an asset
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work with project teams, customers, and field personnel
- Flexibility for occasional on-call support on weekends as required
- Flexibility for occasional travel for projects throughout Alberta
- Valid Class 5 license with no more than 5 demerits
