Job Summary
Project Coordinator for construction projects in Prince Albert, SK. Manage material and specialty product options during the project lifecycle, coordinate material deliveries with site requirements, collaborate on upselling and repricing change requests, liaise between GC and BIM model team for accuracy, manage preconstruction submittals and LEED requirements, analyze blueprints to extract scope, prepare estimates and material take-offs, coordinate with fabrication and installation teams to maintain schedules, coordinate shop drawings and RFIs, assist with ad-hoc projects, and support documentation and reporting to the Project Manager. Requires 1-3 years’ hands-on experience, a bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management, proficiency with AutoCAD, Plexxis, estimating software, and MS Office, and strong analytical and communication skills. Knowledge of Provincial Building Codes and Building Envelope is preferred. This role notes in-person work in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan with a mid-level professional track and competitive salary.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years’ hands-on experience as a project coordinator
- Undergraduate degree in engineering or construction management
- Experience with construction estimating software, AutoCAD, Plexxis, and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work within tight deadlines and prioritize tasks
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, troubleshooting, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
- Highly developed interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of Provincial Building Codes and Building Envelope
