Job Summary
Project Coordinator to support the Policy Office in delivering high-quality projects and initiatives across the Policy branch. Responsibilities include coordinating and providing administrative support to work programmes, ensuring smooth operations and efficient workflows, producing high-quality written materials tailored to the audience, managing internal relationships, and escalating risks as appropriate. Requires strong secretariat skills (logistics, paper preparation, minute taking), excellent writing abilities, discretion with sensitive documents, and proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, MS Teams, and SharePoint. Wellington-based fixed-term/secondment opportunity with a focus on collaboration and delivering impactful outcomes for the Policy branch.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in a high-level coordination and multi-project environment
- Strong secretariat skills, including logistics, paper preparation and minute taking
- Ability to manage internal relationships and build credibility across the organisation
- Very good writing skills – clear, accurate, and tailored to your audience
- Discretion and the ability to manage sensitive documents
- High computer literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel and MS Teams/SharePoint
- The ability to identify risk and escalate concerns where appropriate
