Job Summary
Coordinate day-to-day execution of customer projects by managing open orders, timelines, and material logistics within established processes. Prioritize an active queue of requests and project milestones to meet deadlines, entering quotes and orders accurately in the ERP system. Track progress, material availability, and shipping status while communicating proactively with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders regarding order status and changes. Collaborate with warehouse, logistics, purchasing, and sales teams to align delivery schedules, review documentation for completeness, and escalate execution issues with context. Support Senior Project Coordinators and Team Leads by providing accurate updates and maintaining professional relationships that reflect the company's commitment to customer success.
Required Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in project coordination, operations support, customer service, or a related execution-focused role
- Experience managing active work queues, orders, or customer requests in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Demonstrated experience coordinating across internal teams such as Sales, Purchasing, Logistics, Warehouse, or Operations
- Experience working within structured processes, documenting work accurately, and escalating issues appropriately
- Experience interacting directly with customers, vendors, or manufacturers to provide updates and resolve execution-related questions
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Construction Management, Supply Chain, or a related field
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Working knowledge of ERP systems, project tracking tools, and client-specific web portals used to manage orders and project data
- Ability to manage day-to-day project execution activities, including orders, timelines, and material logistics, within defined processes
- Strong ability to manage multiple active requests simultaneously, prioritize work, and meet service and delivery deadlines
- Professional communication skills with the ability to provide clear status updates, clarify requests, and manage routine customer interactions
- Ability to navigate ERP systems, project tools, and customer portals while maintaining high standards of data accuracy and documentation
- Ability to recognize execution risks or discrepancies and escalate issues with context and recommended next steps
- Understanding of pricing, fees, and customer-specific agreements, with the ability to validate data and flag discrepancies
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and contribute to consistent, dependable execution outcomes
- Occasionally required to lift and carry office materials, files, or supplies weighing up to 20 pounds
- Specific vision abilities include close vision and the ability to adjust focus, necessary for reading documents, using a computer, and reviewing order details
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in person, by phone, and in virtual meetings with customers and team members
Desired Qualifications
- Background in electrical distribution, lighting, construction, facilities, or trade-adjacent environments
- Electrical trade experience, construction experience, or field-based industry experience
- Exposure to project management coursework, CAPM, or similar certifications
