Project Coordinator

Job Summary
Coordinate and drive project activities across transportation, operations, process improvement, and business optimization initiatives; maintain project plans, timelines, action logs, status trackers, and project documentation across multiple initiatives; track deliverables, milestones, dependencies, risks, and action items; follow up with stakeholders, operational teams, and project owners to ensure tasks and commitments are completed on time; support the execution of operational, continuous improvement, process optimization, and transformation initiatives; lead smaller operational and process improvement initiatives under guidance; prepare project updates, reports, meeting notes, presentations, and status summaries for leadership teams and stakeholders; coordinate meetings, working sessions, workshops, and project-related communications; support issue tracking, escalation management, and implementation follow-up activities; work with internal teams, operational stakeholders, vendors, and external partners to support project execution requirements; assist with process documentation, workflow mapping, operational reporting, and implementation tracking activities where required; support post-implementation reviews, lessons learned activities, and project closeout reporting; maintain a high level of organization, accountability, and follow-through across all assigned initiatives; participate in additional projects and departmental support activities as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, operations, administration, logistics, transportation, continuous improvement, or a related environment.
- Post-secondary education in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Technology, or a related field preferred.
- Project management coursework, CAPM, PMP coursework, Lean, or related certifications considered an asset.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain structure, follow-up discipline, and project accountability.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced operational environments with changing priorities and timelines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally across multiple departments and levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking capabilities.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and project management tools/software.
- Experience within transportation, logistics, supply chain, or operational environments considered an asset.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong interest in project delivery, operations, and continuous improvement.
