Job Summary
Gather and analyze project data to prepare detailed schedules, status updates, and variance reports for Terrestrial Energy's Integral Molten Salt Reactor programs. Support schedule forecasts, cost accruals, and the integration of supplier and national laboratory partner timelines into overall program schedules. Maintain comprehensive project documentation, coordinate document control interfaces, and facilitate clear communication among engineering, safety, quality, and licensing stakeholders. Assist in identifying project risks, developing mitigation plans, and implementing standardized project controls templates to streamline execution. Prepare progress dashboards and actionable insights for executive decision-making while managing concurrent tasks across multiple projects. Occasional travel to project sites as required.
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Engineering, Science, or a related field
- 2-4 years of work experience in project planning or coordination for complex engineering projects
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively liaise and build collaborative relationships across all levels of the organization
- Proficient use of Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and Visio for project scheduling, documentation, data analysis, and visual communication
- High computer proficiency and quick adaptability to new software tools
- Exceptional ability to identify root causes and devise effective resolution strategies for complex project challenges
- Demonstrated flexibility to adapt plans and priorities in response to changing project deadlines and business needs
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proven track record of successful project planning and coordination, delivering projects on schedule and within scope
- Exceptional multitasking ability to manage competing project goals and tight deadlines without compromising quality
- Knowledge or experience in nuclear or large scale power projects, understanding safety regulations and industry best practices
- Experience using Primavera P6
- Proficient use of Power BI for dashboard development and data visualization
- Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or other relevant PMI designation(s)
- Experience coordinating projects involving external suppliers, national laboratories, or government-funded programs
- Demonstrated experience presenting project status and recommendations to executive leadership teams
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US without the need for sponsorship for employment visa status
- Successful candidate must be able to access and use information subject to U.S. Export Control Laws
- Citizenship must be from the U.S. Department of Energy's List of Generally Authorized Countries (10 CFR Part 810 Appendix A) unless a specific authorization is obtained or the candidate is a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or protected individual
