Job Summary
Project Coordinator (Heavy Civil) role in Southwestern Ontario overseeing planning, execution and delivery of large infrastructure projects. Liaise with clients, sub-contractors, vendors and internal team; prepare progress reports, subcontracts, purchase orders, change orders and site instructions; participate in tender and contract preparation with Estimator to assemble bids and manage pricing inquiries; maintain safety records and audits; compile close-out documents and arrange Certificates of Publication; participate in project meetings and prepare minutes. Requires at least 5 years of direct Project Coordinator experience on bridgework, roadwork, and water/sewer projects; post-secondary education in Construction Management, Civil Engineering Technology or Engineering; proficiency in reading construction drawings, scheduling, document control, and project management software (Procore, MS Project, Primavera); strong written and verbal communication skills. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of direct Project Coordinator experience
- Post Secondary education in Construction Management, Civil Engineering Technology or Engineering
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and project documentation
- Experience with project scheduling, document control, and project management software (Procore, MS Project, Primavera)
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
