Job Summary
Enter sales orders, proofread purchase orders and quotes, and generate work instructions to support Decatur Mold departments. Dispatch truck drivers by maintaining schedules, reviewing routes and weights, and entering hours while adhering to HOS laws. Create trucking requests for service jobs, communicate with sales and shop personnel for loading times, and generate paperwork for drivers. Monitor projects for cost, receipts, and invoice payments, and perform shipments via LTL and parcel services. Full-time role Monday through Friday with on-call rotation for emergency dispatch.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Knowledge of CMV laws and regulations
- Knowledge of various states axle and bridge laws
- 5 Years of experience of hands on responsibility using ERP systems for customer orders and Invoicing
- Knowledge of applicable laws/regulations and management of transportation and logistics
- Must be able to lift files, boxes up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to open filing cabinets
- Must be able to bend or stand as necessary
- Must be available for Sunday as needed to dispatch drivers for Monday
- Must be available for On call rotation for emergency trucking requirements
- Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. schedule
