Job Summary
Support and promote continuous improvement to the mine's electrical infrastructure, mining fleet, gas drainage, tailings relocation, and water management systems. Provide advice and support across complex professional areas while actively investigating enhancements to standards, procedures, and processes that improve safety, reliability, and productivity. Assist with planning and coordination of resources within your area of responsibility, taking all reasonable steps to minimize environmental impact. This role reports to the Statutory Electrical Engineer at Bulga Open Cut, a long-established coal operation in the NSW Hunter Valley, focusing on maintaining equipment to the highest safety and performance standards.
Required Qualifications
- Possess or currently studying to gain tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering
- Have relevant industry experience
- Have a strong focus on innovation
