Job Summary
As Project Coordinator, Facilities, you will support the Project Manager in coordinating facility maintenance and capital improvement projects, including administrative and operational tasks; assist with procurement activities and vendor coordination; contribute to cost tracking and basic estimation for maintenance projects; review, monitor, and update project schedules; maintain accurate project documentation (shop drawings, RFIs, change notices, as-built records) for facility assets; liaise with internal stakeholders, occupants, contractors, consultants, and maintenance teams; conduct site inspections and quality assurance checks; clarify drawings, specifications, and maintenance requirements to contractors and service providers; identify and help resolve conflicts across building systems by coordinating with consultants and vendors; ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and organizational standards; track project updates and support reporting on facilities projects and performance metrics; salary range noted as 60,000 - 70,000; location specified as Oakville, ON, Canada.
Required Qualifications
- Engineering diploma (Civil, Construction, Mechanical, Electrical) is ideal or equivalent experience in project coordination
- Previous experience in coordination of subtrades and/or subcontractor procurement is an asset
- Working knowledge of project management software with fluency in Excel
