Job Summary
Coordinate learning and knowledge exchange initiatives including communities of practice, online repositories, webinars, and the annual Divisions Learning Session. Support internal and external communications, maintain resource-sharing platforms, develop meeting agendas, and create reports. Monitor project progress against deadlines, organize a centralized repository for emerging topics, and proactively align activities across internal teams and partners. Provide backup administrative support and coverage during holidays or high-volume periods. This 15-month contract offers a starting salary of $57,616 to $71,450.
Required Qualifications
- A university degree and/or recognized professional designation in a related field
- Up to four years of progressive and related experience
- Equivalent level of related work experience in lieu of post-secondary education
- Adept at balancing major concurrent tasks and projects
- Ability to work with internal and external parties in a coordinated manner
- Organized, resourceful and efficient with an outstanding attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to represent the team and department with a high level of professionalism
- Proven ability to respond to a wide variety of issues
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and conflicting demands
- Effective writing skills
- Proven ability to develop clear and concise communication
- Demonstrated proficiency with PC based software, particularly Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of BC's health care system
- Experience working with family physicians
- Specialized knowledge in a technical or professional discipline, preferably in a health, not-for-profit, adult education, government or business sector
- Ability to apply technical/professional concepts and applications to tasks or activities
