Job Summary
Project Coordinator to support ongoing updates and enhancements of the Life! diabetes prevention program in Victoria, Australia. Hybrid, full-time role within the Prevention and Health Promotion team, supporting the Innovation and Program Development Team Lead in reviewing materials for clarity, accessibility, cultural inclusivity, and health-literacy appropriateness; translate complex health information into plain English; collaborate with subject matter experts, stakeholders and design/communications teams; coordinate meetings, timelines and documentation; conduct community consultation activities and evidence scans to inform program improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in health promotion, public health, health sciences, project management, communications or a related field
- Demonstrated research and reporting skills
- Understanding of evidence-based health promotion practice, health literacy principles, and plain-English communication
- Strong project coordination, time management and organisational skills
- Well-developed written, verbal and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience with inclusive resource development, co-design or community consultation
- Current Victorian Police Check
