Job Summary
Project Coordinator for Data Centers responsible for confirming schematics, equipment lists, and equipment orders are lined up and accurate to minimize delivery setbacks. Lead coordination using BIM/Revit/Virtual Construction tools; manage BIM clash detection and resolution; conduct coordination meetings with stakeholders (client, A/E, Owner's Rep, subcontractors, vendors); track equipment orders from OEM to site delivery; assist construction PM with budget development; ensure on-site equipment availability, perform change-order management, and support preconstruction and closeout activities. Requires strong technical knowledge of data center and construction, with hands-on BIM/Autodesk experience, safety compliance, and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (a plus) or equivalent trade experience
- 3 to 5+ years of commercial / critical facilities MEP Construction experience
- Revit / BIM 360 a Must
- Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) experience a HUGE plus
- Detailed understanding of Electrical systems to include integrated testing, MEP system installation and sequencing, Commissioning, MOPs / SOPs of installation, functionality and troubleshooting
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders
- Demonstrates solid presentation, verbal, written and communication skills
- Demonstrates proficiency using PC and Microsoft Office tools
- Previous administrative experience managing change orders, billing, creating reports
