Job Summary
Construction Project Coordinator role supporting nationwide retail construction programs; owns project documentation, subcontract administration, and closeout processes, enabling Project Managers to focus on execution, client relationships, and financial performance. Responsibilities include establishing projects in PM systems (e.g., Procore), maintaining milestones and documentation, coordinating subcontractor onboarding and prequalification, drafting and tracking subcontract agreements, purchase orders, and change orders, monitoring insurance and compliance, maintaining audit-ready files, tracking RFIs, submittals, change orders, and closeout deliverables, supporting invoicing and payments, contributing to change management documentation, and preparing reports for stakeholders. Requires an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, or related field (preferred) and 2-4 years of construction coordination experience; proficient in Excel/Outlook; familiar with Procore; strong organizational skills; hybrid role based in Plano, TX.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, or related field preferred
- 2-4 years of experience supporting construction projects in a coordination or administrative role
- Experience with subcontract administration, including prequalification, insurance verification, and contract tracking
- Strong understanding of construction project documentation processes including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and closeout packages
- Advanced organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate, audit-ready documentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook for tracking and communication
- Experience working on multi-site retail, restaurant, or commercial construction programs preferred
- Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Procore)
- Experience supporting high-volume, fast-paced project environments
