Job Summary
Project Coordinator role within a Long Island City construction firm focused on administrative support for the project team. Responsibilities include monthly billing and requisitions, assembling pay applications, processing subcontractor invoices, change orders, and COIs; maintaining logs for invoices, POs, and change orders; tracking lien waivers; managing project information in Excel and Procore; establishing and maintaining organized project files and document control; coordinating routine correspondence with subcontractors, vendors, and internal staff; providing general administrative support to the project team.
Required Qualifications
- Directly transferable administrative experience in construction or a related A/E/C project environment is required.
- Hands-on familiarity with construction billing and processing — requisitions and pay applications, subcontractor invoices, change orders, lien waivers, and COIs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (required).
- Experience with Procore preferred; willingness to learn required.
- Strong organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
- Clear written and verbal communication; works effectively as part of a project team.
