Project Coordinator, Civil Projects (12-month Contract)

Job Summary

Coordinate and schedule meetings, take minutes, organize action items, and ensure completion through follow-up for terminal infrastructure projects from business development through commissioning. Prepare submissions, reports, and presentations to facilitate project approvals while editing and formatting documents. Liaise with terminal operations, technology, safety, and security groups to align on project performance and technical requirements. Support the preparation of RFQ and RFP documentation, evaluate consultants and contractors, and administer Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders through Oracle ERP. Develop project dashboards, maintain performance metrics, and prepare progress and cost tracking reports. Conduct quality, safety, and environmental inspections while coordinating site investigations and construction activities between contractors and terminal operations.

Required Qualifications

  • A university degree related to civil engineering, environmental science, construction management or related discipline
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the delivery of infrastructure projects
  • Knowledge of project management principles and PMO practices
  • Demonstrated project experience related to the business development, planning, permitting, procurement, engineering design, construction supervision, commissioning and contract administration of infrastructure project with construction values >$10m
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Strong computer skills including experience using Microsoft Project, document control systems and drafting software
  • Must be able to work independently, accurately and on own initiative to maintain work output with minimum supervision
  • Fluent in English
  • Previous Canadian work experience or experience working directly with Canadian industries
  • To be eligible for hire, you must be legally entitled to work in Canada
  • must successfully obtain Transport Canada Security Clearance

Desired Qualifications

  • Oracle ERP knowledge, particularly Procurement (PR/PO) processes, considered an asset
