Job Summary
Lead team leadership and capacity building for staff, fostering a culture of mutual trust, respect, and care through coaching, mentoring, and regular performance reviews. Manage project implementation and technical quality assurance by integrating disaster risk reduction strategies into WASH programming, coordinating with government institutions and technical teams, and ensuring financial stewardship through rigorous budget monitoring and variance reporting. Oversee program design, monitoring, and evaluation in alignment with LEAP standards, developing tools to track progress, training facilitators, and preparing semi-annual and annual reports for donors. Provide strategic leadership for community engagement and monitoring processes while supporting annual program quality self-reviews to promote scaling up of evidence-based interventions.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of two years of appropriate professional experience (DRR and WASH)
- Demonstrated experience in project design, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and report writing
- Proven leadership ability and experience as a team
- University degree in a relevant technical field (e.g. Development Studies, Philosophy & Social Science and Humanity)
- Competence in spoken and written English communication
- Good interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to supervise staff
- Literacy in Microsoft Office and Excel and Power Point
- Understanding of the Humanitarian industry
- The ability to think strategically and solve problems
- Good presentation and communication skills for a number of different audiences
- Proven time management and organizational skills
- Attend and participate in weekly chapel services and regular devotional meetings
- Support in hosting the visits of sponsors, donors, and WV staff from other
- Assist humanitarian emergency disaster management
- Well-arranged donor visit / maintaining relationship with donor by showing impact
