Job Summary
Maintain full ownership of the program's patient list, master calendar, and database while coordinating pre- and post-treatment requirements, including scheduling tests, securing transportation, and completing FMLA paperwork. Facilitate weekly program meetings and monthly data review meetings, serving as a liaison between patients, caregivers, and the clinical team. Manage patient-specific shadow charts, disease trackers, and individualized treatment calendars, ensuring accurate submission of study data to the Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Research. Formulate annual reports, assist with revising standard operating procedures, and monitor compliance with FACT accreditation and corrective action plans.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent combination of formal education and experience)
- Minimum 2-5 years of relevant post-collegiate professional experience
- Previous project coordination
- Excellent verbal/written English communication skills
- Excellent grammatical, editing and proofreading skills
- Advanced skills with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and other web-based applications
- Ability to produce complex documents, perform analysis and maintain databases
- Ability to work independently and exercise independent judgment
- Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to be socially perceptive in accepting and relaying confidential information, communicating policies and procedures, and interacting effectively with a variety of Medical Center personnel and outside personnel
- Strong problem solving skills
- Proven ability to work with confidential information
- Must complete a background check before beginning their employment
- Must be vaccinated against COVID-19 and flu, as well as receive a booster dose of the COVID-19 vaccine
