Job Summary
AFIMAC Canada seeks Project Co-ordinators for assignments in Ontario related to labour disruptions, organized protests, and man-made crises/disasters. Roles involve up to 12-hour shifts, seven days per week when deployed, with temporary contracts ranging from 1 to 120 days. Deployments include travel, potential lodging, and meal allowances. Candidates must have experience in military, emergency management, project management or law enforcement, be able to travel and work away from home, and operate under high-stress conditions. Responsibilities include coordinating deployments, managing clients and field personnel, leading teams, testifying in proceedings when required, and maintaining compliance with security/licensing requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Former military, emergency management, project management or law enforcement experience required.
- Able to travel
- Work away from home for extended deployments
- Excellent organization and computer skills
- Able to work in a high stress environment
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Work long hours up to 7 days per week
- Be on call nights and weekends
- Able to deploy on short notice -as projects dictate
- Ability to manage clients that are at a senior manager/executive level
- Able manage investigators and security personnel deployed in the field
- Motivate and improve performance as needed
- Strong team building know how
- Clean criminal record
- Valid drivers license and vehicle
- Strong attention to detail and able to work with law enforcement and client legal counsel
- Testify at legal proceedings
- Very strong problem-solving skills
- Have or able to obtain – required security and investigation licenses
- Former corporate security role and asset
- Experience: Project management or Emergency management: 1 year (preferred)
- Military or Law Enforcement: 1 year (preferred)
- Language: English (required)
- Licence/Certification: Security License (preferred)
- Private Investigator License (preferred)
- Class G Drivers License (required)
