Job Summary
Oversee inventory integrity, restocking, and vendor material control while managing repair processes, timestamps, and part deliveries to technicians. Process requisitions, expedites late orders, and maintain cross-reference systems for optimal usage. Resolve discrepancies, participate in physical inventory audits, and establish cost reduction programs to maintain low inventory levels. Source and evaluate vendors for plant-level services, place warranty claims with OEMs, and prepare performance data in 4up charting. Create and administer sequential work schedules via computerized systems, expediting operations to meet unforeseen conditions. Ensure ISO conformance, maintain process manuals, and adhere to safety procedures in a factory environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree from four-year college or university
- three or more years of related experience
- or seven years equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- write simple correspondence
- effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- compute rate, ratio, and percent
- draw and interpret bar graphs
- apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
