Job Summary
The Project Coordinator role focuses on overseeing natural gas transmission and distribution infrastructure construction projects to ensure safety, quality, compliance, and efficiency. Responsibilities include analyzing costs and alternatives for construction projects, maintaining timely and thorough communication with customers, municipalities, and governmental agencies, contributing to safety, quality, financial, and schedule goals, interpreting pipeline contracts, and coordinating with internal and external teams. The position requires strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects, and a valid driver's license, with knowledge of piping construction techniques, welding, OSHA regulations, and basic project management tools. This is a field-based role with variable work locations based on project sites, and may involve on-site presence, travel, and coordinating with external service providers.
Required Qualifications
- 0 years of industrial construction experience with related degree
- 2 years of industrial construction experience with no degree
- Vocational degree or certificate in a technical field preferred
- Valid driver’s license required
- Basic MS Word, Excel, Outlook
- Basic interpretation of design drawings and specifications
- Basic knowledge of piping construction techniques and welding
- Demonstrated success in project coordination on small/medium/large industrial construction projects
- Demonstrated success in leading small projects up to $5MM
- Intermediate knowledge of piping construction techniques and welding NDE; exc/ coating; inspection; pressure testing; pigging/cleaning
