Job Summary
Conduct data analysis and normalization for asset life cycle cost data within the Oil Sands Estimating team. Develop and organize databases, perform probability and statistical analysis, and create key metrics for conceptual estimating and benchmarking. Maintain estimating tools and templates while analyzing labor productivity for Downstream and Upstream Oil Sand Major Facilities. Report to the Manager of Estimating with a focus on cost data management. Requires strong analytical skills, familiarity with Microsoft Office, and a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering. Full-time student work term starting January or May with a 5-on, 2-off schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in Bachelor of Construction Management
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Good knowledge of the basics of statistics and analytical skills
- Good understanding of cost data analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Legal authorization to work in Canada with no restrictions
