Job Summary
Interpret grant requirements, monitor reporting deadlines, track project spending and budgets, and prepare accurate financial reports to ensure compliance and effective utilization of funding. Manage reporting activities, organize grant documentation, and coordinate monthly touchpoints with grant and wildfire mitigation teams to review progress and funding needs. This role supports the Wildfire Mitigation Program within the DOE grant financial management team. US citizenship or green card status is required, with five to ten years of experience in financial analysis or reporting-focused finance roles.
Required Qualifications
- US citizen or hold a green card
- 5–10 years of experience as a Financial Analyst or in a reporting-focused finance role
- Strong financial analysis background with proven reporting experience
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including proficiency with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance preferred
- Experience interpreting financial, contractual, or grant-related language is preferred
- Utility industry experience preferred
- Grant management experience is a plus
- Department of Energy (DOE) grant financial management experience is a plus
- Contract interpretation experience is a plus
