Project Controls Specialist

Job Summary
Manage financial performance and control processes for multiple engineering projects by developing budgets, forecasts, and cost tracking systems. Prepare monthly financial reports, variance analyses, and earned value metrics while monitoring expenditures to identify cost overruns and risks. Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure financial alignment with scope and schedule, support change order development, and maintain documentation for audits. Submit purchase orders, change orders, and service entries while reporting status updates and financials on existing orders. Assist with forecasts and participate in project reviews to provide financial insights for decision-making. Ensure compliance with Mesa's financial policies and client requirements. Work on-site Monday through Friday in 4x10, 5x8, or as directed rotations.
Required Qualifications
- Min 6 years' experience on-site project controls
- Experience using SAP, Excel, Word
- On-site Mon-Fri
- Work 4x10s, 5x8s, as directed by client Lead
- Possibility of working 5x10s or 6x10s
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field
- 2-3 years of related work experience
- PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PBA) and/or P6 certification
