Job Summary
Conduct project updates in Primavera P6 Web, ensuring data integration with the Corps of Engineers Financial Management System and Resident Management System. Add new projects to the PROMIS database and maintain data according to HQ, Division, and District guidance. Develop and analyze project cost and schedule data to assess variances, performance, and forecasts while monitoring deliverables against baselines. Prepare and present reports to communicate cost and schedule status to the Project Review Board, Command Management Review, and Directorate Management Review. Ensure compliance with internal procedures, contractual specifications, and government regulations. Maintain accurate data integration and reporting within the Project Management Automated Information System (P2) and related tools.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3–5 years of project controls experience
- Intermediate to advanced user of Primavera P6
- Competency in both schedule and cost control
- Intermediate understanding of project management principles
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
- High emotional intelligence with the ability to build relationships and foster a continuous improvement environment
- Government experience
- U.S. Citizenship
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred
- PMP or similar certification preferred
- Knowledge of visualization tools such as PowerBI and QlikSense tools is preferred
