Job Summary
Conduct integrated scheduling and reporting, manage critical and float paths, and perform cost analysis with forecasting and earned value calculations. Update project performance for stakeholders, document cost and schedule data, and execute change management, budgeting, and risk assessments. Oversee contract and scope management while collaborating with Project Management, Engineering, and Controls teams. Requires 2-5 years of experience in cost accounting and scheduling, proficiency in MS Project and Primavera, and a BS in Accounting, Engineering, or Construction Management.
Required Qualifications
- 2-5 years of directly related experience in cost accounting, scheduling, and/or project management on engineering services and/or construction projects
- Proficiency and knowledge of cost/planning/control and reporting techniques, specifically project accounting practices and use of financial systems (e.g., system input and reporting, invoicing and cash flow, revenue recognition, etc.)
- Very proficient computer skills using MS Excel, Access, Project, Word and Power Point
- Working knowledge of Critical Path Method scheduling theories
- Working knowledge of MS Project and/or Primavera (P6) scheduling software
- Proven accuracy, reliability, and completeness in job accomplishment
- Ability to work independently and follow through on assignments
- Ability to deal with a variety of individuals from various socio-economic, cultural and ethnic backgrounds
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Acceptance that some travel may be required
Desired Qualifications
- BS in Accounting, Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline
- Experience in the T&D utility industry
