Project Controls Specialist

Job Summary
Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules while tracking costs, preparing forecasts, and monitoring budget performance for energy projects. Generate reports, dashboards, and performance metrics for internal and client use, identifying potential risks and providing mitigation recommendations. Support project managers in planning, resource allocation, and progress tracking, ensuring compliance with standards, policies, and contractual requirements. Participate in meetings to provide updates on schedule, cost, and performance, maintaining accurate documentation. The role involves site visits and occasional travel, requiring 3–5 years of experience in project controls within the energy sector.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in project controls, preferably in energy, T&D, or substation projects
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Understanding of project management and control principles, including cost control, scheduling, and risk management
- Role may involve site visits and occasional travel
