Job Summary
Create and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6, overseeing preparation of monthly reports that compare baseline approved schedules to progress schedules including critical path method, resource loading, and cost loading. Administer budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis while ensuring accurate accounting treatment and capital postings for progress reporting against budgets. Prepare executive-level reports, corrective action plans, and mitigation strategies based on critical path analysis, working collaboratively with resources to determine project priorities and work plans. Coordinate development and implementation of procedure and process requirements for the scheduling group, providing scheduling support for all projects within North America. Travel to project sites periodically as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum 0-3 years' experience in the utility industry
- Proven project scheduling, management and technical skills necessary to develop effective and accurate schedules, coordinate multidisciplinary meetings and report to management for an impressive portfolio of projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be able to follow Company safety rules and all other Company policies
- Travel to project sites within North America as may be periodically required
