Project Controls Specialist

Job Summary
Create and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6, overseeing monthly reports that compare baseline approved schedules to progress data including critical path, resource loading, and cost analysis. Ensure accurate accounting treatment for capital reporting and variance explanations while preparing executive-level reports with corrective action plans based on critical path analysis. Collaborate with engineers and project managers to determine priorities, coordinate scheduling group procedures, and support project success across the energy technology life cycle. Travel to project sites within North America as periodically required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum 0-3 years' experience in the utility industry
- Proven project scheduling, management and technical skills necessary to develop effective and accurate schedules, coordinate multidisciplinary meetings and report to management for an impressive portfolio of projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be able to follow Company safety rules and all other Company policies
