Project Controls Scheduler

Job Summary
Develop and maintain critical path logic networks and bar charts while providing monthly schedule updates for all projects. Resource and cost loads schedules as required, then report status to project staff and company management. Prepare progress reports on project status covering both costs and schedule, and assist in internal cost reporting and forecasting. Manage project controls processes, including reviewing and preparing change orders, maintaining change order logs, and assisting with the subcontractor bidding process. Ensure compliance with company, industry, trade, regulatory, and jurisdictional safety standards. This role supports Ameresco's Federal Solutions Team on projects throughout the United States, with Knoxville, TN as the base location.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 5 years' experience in scheduling and cost controls
- Ability to review confidential US security information
- Valid Driver's License in good standing, issued by resident state required
- May require flexibility for 'on call' support or varied schedule needs
Desired Qualifications
- Completion or progress toward engineering, technical, or industry-related education preferred
- Experience with Primavera P6 scheduling for general construction projects and understands construction sequencing and logic preferred
- Government construction experience preferred
- Renewable Energy construction scheduling experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and complete assignments
- Excellent organization skills including ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
- Excellent verbal, written, computer communication and technical presentation skills
