Job Summary
Project Controls Manager leads all project controls activities for the SCTT Equipment Electrification Upgrade project, including planning, scheduling, reporting, governance, change control, risk management, and performance monitoring. Responsibilities include developing and consolidating project controls deliverables (Primavera P6 schedules, WBS, AWP, PEP), establishing baselines for scope, schedule, cost, and quality, driving accurate performance updates and executive reporting, facilitating change management, risk management, document control, and PMWeb governance. The role requires hands-on on-site leadership based in Port Said, managing a small cost-control/reporting team, mentoring project controls resources, and collaborating with project teams, global functions, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure alignment and transparency. Strong knowledge of project management standards, lean principles, and the ability to predict and improve project performance are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- 7+ years overall experience with 5+ years in project controls
- Proven ability to develop and manage Primavera P6 schedules
- Experience with PMWeb or similar project controls systems
- Strong communication skills in English for internal/external stakeholders
- Experience delivering governance, change control, risk management, and document control processes
- Knowledge of WBS development, baselines, and KPI reporting
- Experience in large-scale capital infrastructure projects
- Advanced project management certification such as PMQ or PMP or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
