Job Summary
Project Controls Manager in Adelaide leading integrated project controls across cost, schedule, risk and change for infrastructure and defence programs. Establishes and leads governance, data-driven insights, and reporting to senior stakeholders; drives continuous improvement of project controls practices; oversees multidisciplinary teams (cost, schedule, risk, estimating and reporting); develops program baselines; manages budgeting, forecasting and cost control; leads integrated schedules (Primavera P6) and risk/change management; delivers timely client and senior-management reporting; mentors a high-performing team and applies modern tools (e.g., Power BI) to drive performance.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Commerce or similar
- 10+ years’ experience in Project Controls across cost, schedule, risk and change
- Proven experience leading project controls on large-scale infrastructure or defence programs
- Strong capability in budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis and governance reporting
- Advanced understanding of integrated scheduling (Primavera P6 desirable)
- Strong data and reporting capability, including use of modern tools (e.g. Power BI)
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Experience managing teams in complex, fast-paced environments
