Job Summary

Project Controls Manager for infrastructure projects in London with accountability for leading the programme controls function, monitoring plans, cost, safety, environment and performance reporting, and deploying controls resources. Responsibilities include establishing control processes per GRIP, reviewing new project proposals/remits to develop realistic resource plans, identifying resourcing requirements, providing day-to-day reporting on plans, costs and performance, ensuring data quality in cost and performance systems, and producing the Investment Plan. Requires experience in planning/scheduling, coordination with planning functions, and strong communication skills; proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Office; knowledge of engineering and construction management; familiarity with data standards and integrated reporting.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in planning and scheduling functions (schedule development, control, and analysis) in field and home office
  • Proficiency with Primavera (P6) and Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of engineering and construction management
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing
  • Proficiency with PC operating systems and multiple discipline-specific software applications
  • Knowledge of the Guide to Railway Investment Projects (GRIP) and compliance as directed by Programme Controller
