Job Summary
Project Controls Engineer focused on independent engineering advisory services for Energy Dominance Financing (EDF) programs. Responsibilities include cost, schedule, earned value, baseline changes, and forecast controls; preparing defensible work products such as project controls reports, schedule updates, cost curves, variance analysis, and change logs; coordinating with engineering, finance, legal, construction, operations, environmental, and other stakeholders to support lender and DOE decision-making; supporting technical due diligence, credit evaluation, lifecycle monitoring, and assurance activities across DOE/LPO engagements with remote project support across the United States. Requires senior-level experience in oil/gas, power, utilities, or large-scale infrastructure, with the ability to translate technical findings into actionable risk and financing implications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field
- 10+ years of engineering/construction/operations/risk/finance/energy infrastructure advisory experience
- PE, PMP, CSP, API, NACE/AMPP, PMI or discipline-specific credentials preferred
