Job Summary
The Project Controls Director, Construction leads project controls functions, providing vision, management, and mentorship to enhance the effectiveness of project controls across the organization. Responsibilities include financial planning, forecasting, budget management, cost and phase code control, variance analysis and leading a team of Project Controls staff. The role requires 15+ years of relevant experience, including strong communication skills, technical knowledge in Project Controls, and experience with project management tools.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in quantitative surveying, engineering, or construction management
- 15+ years of relevant experience in construction and project management
- 10+ years in management related to project controls
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Demonstrated Project Controls technical knowledge and management skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, PlanGrid, SharePoint, ACC and Project Management software
Desired Qualifications
- Mega-project or portfolio project(s) experience
- Work experience with a General Contractor preferred
- Experience in the Mission Critical space
