Job Summary
Prepare monthly financial reports, review purchase orders and subcontract commitments, and maintain a tracking database to align funding with work authorizations. Evaluate uncommitted and contingency balances, examine vendor invoices, and lead the change control process. Conduct periodic site visits to monitor progress and participate in cost review meetings to compare actual costs against budget limitations. Prepare variance analysis and expenditure forecasts to identify critical funding points while assisting in procedure development. Work on a top-tier biopharmaceutical client expanding their Houston campus, managing multiple projects from inception through close-out.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS + 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 2 years of leadership
- Knowledge of construction scheduling using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project
- All newly hired employees are required to attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location as a condition of employment
Desired Qualifications
- Impeccable verbal, written and numeracy skills in a client facing capacity
- Ability to work under own initiative and unsupervised, but also as part of a team
- Experience of working in process manufacturing and/or bio-pharmaceutical industries; on-site experience is preferred but not required
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word and Teams
- Familiarity with business intelligence / reporting / dashboarding tools such as Power BI / Tableau
