Job Summary
Develop and maintain project cost control systems, proposal estimates, and resource-loaded schedules for the Darlington New Nuclear Project. Convert project bids into accurate baselines, configure accounting systems, and ensure compliance with contract conditions for invoicing, reporting, and change management. Monitor project performance, generate status reports including Earned Value metrics, and analyze cost/schedule data to suggest corrective actions. Manage budget forecasts and implement change procedures to keep the project within anticipated parameters. Requires 3+ years of construction project controls experience, a degree in Engineering or related field, and a valid G driver's license. Full-time role at the Darlington site in Clarington, Ontario, reporting to the Project Controls Manager.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of related project controls construction experience
- College and/or University degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Valid G driver's license and access to a vehicle
- Organizational skills to handle multiple tasks within a high-pressure work site environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and employees
- Willingness for continuous learning and advancement of technical knowledge
- Detail oriented, organizational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Service orientated
