Job Summary

Provide Project Controls guidance and support under the supervision of a Project Controls Manager; develop/maintain cost/control systems; assist in proposal and estimating to ensure continuity between project estimates and project baseline; develop detailed, resource-loaded schedule; assist in converting bids to set up complete project baseline (budget, schedule); help set up project accounting systems (cost codes, job cost processing procedures, project rules of credit); ensure contract conditions (invoicing, reporting, change management, etc.) are applied and fulfilled for project setup, tracking, and closeout; monitor project performance and ensure proper implementation of the project control system; generate required status reports including overall project Dashboard and earned value metrics (SPI, CPI); analyze project schedule and cost reports and suggest corrective actions to maintain cost and schedule; assist with change management procedures to ensure compliance with contract conditions and Aecon's standards; support budget and forecast management during execution to accurately reflect project status; travel to projects; degree in engineering or related field or equivalent experience; 1-3 years of construction experience; strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work with all levels of management; detail oriented; valid driver's license and access to a vehicle; Aecon fosters diversity and belonging.
