Project Controls Analyst

Project Controls Analyst within WSP's Transportation group supports execution of project activities including financial management, project management, and monthly reporting. You will implement and execute project controls plans, assist with baseline budgets and work breakdown structures, maintain accurate reporting on planned value, actual cost, earned value and schedule, and coordinate with project teams and sub-consultants. Responsibilities include managing the financial health of the project, variance reporting for schedule and cost, preparing progress reports and monthly packages, coordinating invoicing and sub-consultant receivables, and contributing to change management and performance forecasting. Ideal candidates bring a post-secondary diploma or degree in project management, finance, or business and 7+ years of relevant experience, with strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and project scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera), plus familiarity with ProjectWise and SharePoint. The role emphasizes adaptability, multi-tasking across several projects, and collaboration with engineers, planners, designers, and contract administrators.
