Job Summary
Support the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and Project Controls System by performing cost estimating, analysis, and control activities. Develop, maintain, and monitor schedule activities while supervising and providing technical direction for cost engineering and planning/scheduling functions when delegated. Identify trends for management attention and resolve complex issues using professional concepts and Laboratory objectives. Coordinate personnel activities and determine objectives and methods for new assignments with significant latitude. Requires a bachelor's degree and ten years of related experience; US citizenship required. One position available for one year with renewal options.

- Post graduate course work
- Experience in performing, monitoring, and reviewing planning and scheduling functions
- Experience in cost engineering functions
- Knowledge of supervision, personnel administration, and training of technical and non-technical personnel
- Skilled in oral and written communication
- Proficiency in using personal computer operating systems and several basic software applications
- Proficiency in using multiple discipline-specific software applications
- Knowledge of engineering and construction management
- Advanced knowledge of and experience with project controls and/or project management
- Advanced knowledge of and experience with engineering functions and principles
- Advanced knowledge of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) tools and processes
